Improvised Corps.

1. It is probable that the greater number of men of British birth and military age in the Colony would be absorbed by the Hongkong Volunteer Defence Corps in its existing units.

2. A balance of men unfit for combatant duty would remain who could be employed-

a. For Garrison duty.

b) For Medical and Hospital duty.

(c) To re-inforce the Police.

(d) To replace police taken for Combatant duty. (e) For transport work.
